BMW Brilliance sales rise by 36 per cent in China

BEIJING:
BMW Glare Automotive Co, German insurance premium auto maker's Chinese joint venture,
has sold a record 30,600 locally manufactured vehicles in 2007, a 36 per cent
rise over the former year. The sum gross sales of BMW 3
Series and 5 Series was 22,500 in 2006. The gross gross sales figure for last twelvemonth included
stretch 5 Series, a extravagance model, whose sales jumped 61 per cent at 17,647
units, functionary Xinhua news federal agency said. BMW Glare was put up in
2003 by BMW and Glare People'S Republic Of China Automotive Holdings Ltd., the country's eighth
